AgDevCo invests in a Ugandan coffee bean company, Great Lakes Coffee

AgDevCo has invested in Great Lakes Coffee, a company that produces high-grade coffees which it sources from over 20,000 small farmers in Uganda. Great Lakes Coffee was established in 1999 and has been exporting its Arabica coffee to green coffee traders such as Falcon Coffees (UK) which is sold in retail outlets such as Wholefoods and Starbucks. The company built strong relationships with its farmers and provides training in order to improve coffee bean produce. Great Lakes Coffee is fully certified by the Rainforest Alliance. The amount invested by AgDevCo was undisclosed.
