AgDevCo provides a $3 million mezzanine loan to the Rwanda based Minimex

AgDevCo has provided a mezzanine loan to Minimex, which is a Rwanda based maize milling company with a strong portfolio of agricultural operations. The company’s portfolio also comprises of a mushroom grower known as Kigali Farms and a day-old chicken producer known as Uzima. Minimex was established in 2006 and is considered the largest and most technologically advanced mill in Rwanda with a capacity of over 40,000 tonnes per annum. The funding provided will be allocated towards the expansion of capacity as well as increase the quantity of purchases from farmers within the Rwandan agri-sector.
