Nahdet Misr Publishing Group (through EdVentures) has provided US$100,000 for an equity stake in Colnn, a company based in Cairo, Egypt. Colnn is a school management software that provides cloud based solutions to teachers, parents and students. The company was established in 2015 by Tamer Samir who had the idea to assist schools to manage internal processes for improved use of available resources. Funding was provided through the venture capital fund of Nahdet Misr Publishing Group, known as EdVentures. The equity stake acquired remains undisclosed.
