Vunani buys 67% of Metropolitan Life Swaziland for R55 million

Vunani has acquired 67% of Metropolitan Life Swaziland for R55 million and awaiting the Eswatini regulatory authority to approve the transaction. The company has insurance solutions for the corporates and individuals which are offered under the Long Term Insurance License within the country. The company is based in Mbabane within the newly namely country, Eswatini. The Eswatini Development and Savings Bank will remain with the 33% stake in Metropolitan Life Swaziland. Vunani is a South African based fund manager that is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and also has operations in Zambia, Malawi and Zimbabwe.
