The company’s Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) enables businesses to access the full benefits offered by smart devices backed by a global alliance and significant investment into infrastructure.

Ownership & Management: Comsol Networks is managed by its founders whose joint experience in the carrier market totals more than 65 years. Convergence Partners, Nedbank Private Equity and IDC provided funding (for 25% shareholding) for the initial rollout of its new network, Comsol Fibre Connect which offers high capacity wholesale connectivity to enterprise users backed by an enterprise grade Serve Level Agreement. Comsol Networks is currently level two BBBEE rated, which is derived from a combination of equity holding, sustainable procurement policies, enterprise development and corporate social investment projects.

Comsol has several licenses including an Individual Electronic Communication Network Services (I-ECNS) Licence, Individual Electronic Communication Services (I-ECS) License and, more importantly, several highly sought-after and strategic national spectrum licenses issued by ICASA.
