Pension funds in Africa are estimated to be valued at $29bn, with up to 30% growth a year. Africa should spend $93bn – 5% of gross domestic product (GDP) each year on infrastructure to begin closing the $50bn financing gap remaining. To increase diversification, major growth and saving opportunities are available in alternative forms of investment too.
