The first edition of this initiative, held on July 10, 2018 in Cascais, Portugal, was launched under the topic “Crafting Coalitions for Change” – a call to action for building trust between Europe and Africa to enable to work together more effectively and create a multiplier effect in resource sharing, taking the opportunity to rebalance and promote the EurAfrican geographies.

For the second edition, to be held on July 4-5, 2019, the EurAfrican Forum 2019 will be focused on the theme “Partnership of Equals: Sharing Values, Sharing Prosperity” – a new approach and paradigm for Europe and Africa’s relations, faced as equals, to create the framework and forge impact transformation, changing the narrative for both continents for a shared ‘accountable’ prosperous and sustainable joint-future.
