Apollo Agriculture based in Kenya raises $500K in new funding

Apollo Agriculture (Kenya) has been provided with funding of $500,000 by the Dutch development funder FMO and Rabobank. The company provides a customized package of seed and fertilizer, farming advice, and credit delivered to maize farmers in Kenya. The additional funding will be used to expand the company’s ability to provide assistance to the farmers harvesting cycles. Apollo Agriculture already has partners such as Accion Venture Lab which provides support to innovative fintech start-ups and Orrick which is one of the largest law firms in the USA.
