CDC Group Plc and Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development launched a joint power platform that will expand power generation in sub-Saharan Africa. The platform will mobilise project funding of US$1 billion for new power projects in Kenya, Uganda, DRC, Mozambique, Madagascar and West Africa (Source: CDC Group).
