Conduit Capital sells its Constantia Risk and Insurance company to Trustco

Conduit Capital, an investment holding company has agreed to sell Constantia Risk and Insurance to the Namibian financial services group Trustco for R2 billion (US$138 million). The transaction gives Conduit Capital access to Namibia through as it purchased a 16% stake in Legal Shielding Holdings (subsidiary of Trustco) within this same deal.

Conduit Capital is an investment holding company with a number of subsidiaries and investments mostly involved in the Southern African insurance industry. The company is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and typically partners with owner managers who are expected to own shares in their companies.
