Enko Education raises €1.5m from a Netherlands based lender

Enko Education has raised its first debt amount of €1.5m with Oikocredit, a cooperative and social investment company based in the Netherlands. Eric Pignot, founder of Enko Education has indicated that the loan will be used for acquisitions and building of new schools. The company offers a launchpad to the best universities in the world for young African people and has nine schools located in Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Mozambique and South Africa. The first graduating class are all now studying in universities as prestigious as Yale College in the United States, Sciences Po in France and the University of Toronto in Canada.
