Enygma Ventures starts US$6.8 million fund for Southern African women led businesses

The USA based Enygma Ventures has launched fund with US$6.8 million (R100 million) in women-led entrepreneurial companies operating within the confines of the Southern African region. The fund will operate in partnership with Africa Trust Group which will facilitate an incubation programme before an investment is deployed to assist with business expansion. The incubation programme provides essential business support such as growth strategy, business development, personal leadership development and tailor-made support.

Enygma Ventures was founded by Sarah Dusek and Jacob Dusek in order provide opportunities to women-led entrepreneurial businesses in Southern Africa. The company will only accept 10 businesses in the first intake, the application process will be concluded on 1 December 2019 and the programme will start-off on 27 January 2019.
