EXEO Capital exits InteliChem and sells to Masimong Group Holdings

EXEO Capital has sold its entire stake in InteliChem to Masimong Group Holdings. InteliChem is a South African based provider of crop protection solutions and seeds to the agricultural sector. The InteliChem group was established in 2012 after obtaining the majority shareholding in two dominant and well-established companies in the crop protection industry, namely Terason and Technichem. The company has its head office in Stellenbosch (Western Cape, South Africa).

EXEO Capital is an alternative investment partner in Africa that structures, raises, deploys and manages private equity funds in various sectors across Sub-Saharan Africa with a portfolio of companies such as TerraSan Group, Marginpar, Capital Fisheries and Fairfield Dairy.

Masimong Group Holdings is an investment holding company focused on empowerment, growth and value creation.The company has a diversified portfolio in agricultural, financial services and industrial investments such as Seriti Resources Holdings (mining), Southern Cross Investment Holdings (grape producer), Mouton Holdings (citrus producer) and Anchor Capital Limited (wealth & asset manager). The stake sold and the acquisition amount was undisclosed.
