GETWINE has acquired 100% of Sale Wine in a move to gain presence in Gauteng province which is the largest metropolitan region in South Africa. Sale Wine was established in 2010 to sell wine online with a significant market share in Gauteng, South Africa.

GETWINE began it operations in 2003 in Cape Town by selling unlabeled wines online to a loyal customer base. The company is managed by a strong management team with deep knowledge of South African wines. The acquisition of Sale Wine will make GETWINE a large player in selling wine online in both the Western Cape and Gauteng, South Africa. The acquisition amount was undisclosed.
