Investisseurs & Partenaires (I&P) has led a US$7.9-million equity raise for Zeepay, a Ghana based fintech company. Zeepay is focused on mobile money wallets, cards, ATMs, bank accounts and digital tokens to international money transfer operators and is based in 20 countries in Africa. Zeepay is licensed as a financial services provider in Ghana. The stake acquired by various investors was not disclosed.
I&P is a fund that targets a large range of sectors that significantly contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within agri-business, health, construction industry, renewable energy, microfinance, industry, B2B products and services. The fund has a strong presence in West Africa and North Africa. The fund has raised €210-million to invest in entrepreneurs and operates in 10 office locations with a staff complement of 100 individuals.
