Metier Private Equity sells Inhep Electronics Holdings to Assa Abloy SA

Metier Private Equity has agreed to sell Inhep Electronics Holdings to Assa Abloy SA a company acquired the company in 2007 via the Lereko Metier Capital Growth Fund. Assa Abloy SA is part of the international Swedish giant Assa Abloy, a global specialist in the manufacture and supply of secure, safe and convenient door opening systems and entrance solutions. The sale amount is undisclosed. Inhep Electronics Holdings, trading as Inhep Digital Security, manufactures and sells intrusion detection products across sub-Saharan Africa. The company, which employs 189 people generates sales of R250 million per year from its facilities in the South African province of KwaZulu Natal. [AfricaCapitalDigest]
