Oasis Capital invests US$1-million in appsNmobile Solutions (Ghana)

Oasis Capital has invested US$1-million in appsNmobile Solutions, a software development and payment processing company that facilitates payments for businesses in various sectors of the Ghanaian economy. The fintech company was established in 2015 and has expanded its services to the agricultural sector by facilitating payments to farmers and its partners include blue chip companies such as MTN, Vodafone, Airteltigo, United Bank of Africa, Absa, Ecobank and Dalex Finance among many others. The stake acquired by Oasis Capital was not disclosed.

Oasis Capital is a growth and venture capital fund manager that provides risk capital in the form of equity, quasi-equity and profit-sharing facilities to entrepreneurial businesses in West Africa with assets under management of over US$70-million. The firm also offers business development services to its investee companies as an additional value component. Oasis Capital is backed by international development institutions such as the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the European Investment Bank (EIB), Proparco, Norfund and the Dutch Good Growth Fund.
