Paga acquires a software development start-up operating in Ethiopia

Paga, a Nigerian digital payments start-up has acquired a software development start-up that operates in Ethiopia known as Apposit. Apposit designs, builds and implements supporting enterprise software systems. The company engages in long-term relationships that complement impactful software engineering products and services. Apposit was established in 2007 by USA based Adam Abate, Eric Chijioke and Simon Solomon.

Paga is a mobile payments platform that allows its users to transfer money electronically and make payments through mobile devices. The company was founded by Tayo Oviosu who has raised US$10 million for Paga in previous funding rounds. The company has been a client of Apposit, which assisted in rolling out Paga’s operations in Ethiopia.
