Vox Telecoms shareholders are selling their stake for R3 billion

Vox Telecoms shareholders (Rand Merchant Bank and Investec) have decided to sell their stake for R3 billion to interested investors. The shareholders bought this stake in 2011 for about R450 million and stand to make attractive returns given the growth in the telecoms sector, especially the fibre-to-home subsector. Vox Telecoms has successfully expanded its reach in the South African fibre residential market and would provide strong synergies to a large telecoms industry player.
