WomenChoice Industries raised US$200,000 from Gray Matters Capital. WomenChoice manufactures and distributes low-cost hygiene sanitary products for women as well as urinal packets and re-usable child diapers/nappies. The Tanzanian company was established in 2018 and equity funding raised will be used to expand its product range reach in Tanzania.

Gray Matters Capital is a US based impact investor that socially and economically empowers women and girls. It has invested in several emerging markets such as the India Financial Inclusion Fund, Bellwether Microfinance Fund in India, Aulas AMiGAS in Colombia, Redbird Health Tech in Ghana and Taleem Finance Company in Pakistan amongst many others.
