Edelman concludes buyout of Gina Din Corporate Communications

Edelman, a global communications firm has acquired Gina Din Corporate Communications (The Gina Din Group) in order to expand its presence in Africa. The Gina Din Group was established in 1997 and has been instrumental in building brands such as Safaricom, KCB, Kenya Airways, Central Bank of Kenya and The Kenya Red Cross, amongst many others within Kenya.

Gina Din-Kariuki has over 30-years’ experience in providing media and communication strategy to corporates, governments and NGOs in Africa. Gina has built a reputation as a leading authority in the communications field in Africa. Gina will remain as an advisor to Edelman in Africa.

Edelman is a global communications firm that partners with businesses and organizations to evolve, promote and protect their brands and reputations. The company has 6,000 staff in more than 60 global offices with a longstanding history from its founder, Dan Edelman in 1952. Even though the company grew its presence globally, Edelman has remained an independent family managed organisation. Edelman will create a base of 100 specialists in Africa managed by Jordan Rittenberry, CEO of Edelman Africa.
