Founder & CEO of Ubisoft invests in Nigerian startup Kwik Delivery

The founder and CEO of Ubisoft (Yves Guillemot),a French video game company, has invested in the Nigerian based Kwik Delivery. Kwik Delivery is an on-demand platform focusing on the business-to-business and business-to-consumer where it provides last mile delivery services. The investment will be deployed to the expansion and scale-up of Kwik Delivery’s presence within the Nigerian delivery supply-chain.

Yves Guillemot is the founder of Ubisoft, French video game company with several development studios across the world that published games for several video game franchises such as Rayman, Raving Rabbids, Prince of Persia, Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Just Dance, and Tom Clancy. Some of the games are licensed to Nintendo, Sega and Sony. Ubisoft is listed on Euronext with a market capitalisation of €3.4bn. The company generated revenues of €1.8 billion, operating profit of €159 million and free cash flow of €310 million in the financial year of 2019.
