RH Bophelo acquires 100% of Rondebosch Medical Centre

RH Bophelo has acquired 70% of Rondebosch Medical Centre after having already bought a 30% stake in the company in 2018, effectivley becoming a 100% shareholder. Rondebosch Medical Centre is an independent private hospital with services that include a 24-hour emergency unit, operating theatres, surgical unit, GIT Unit, medical unit, intensive care unit, oncology unit, renal unit, paediatric unit, maternity unit, neonatal unit, cardiac unit, psychiatry, radiology and pathology. The hospital is conveniently located on Klipfontein Road, Cape Town.

RH Bophelo is a healthcare investor that is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange with funds in excess of R500 million. The company invests in hospitals where it can improve facilities and increase access to quality healthcare services to the lower-to-middle income bracket in South Africa. One of the first investments by RH Bophelo were in Africa Healthcare, Vryburg Private Hospital and Rondebosch Medical Centre.
